This is my third dress from vintage repro brand Dolly And Dotty, with the Darlene swing dress becoming a firm favourite in my wardrobe. This time I'm swooshing around in the purple variant which comes with a pretty polka dot splatter. It's the perfect dress for getting up to some rockabilly mischief in!
Available up to a UK 24, the brand carries a range of styles from fitted wiggles to flirty halternecks. The Darlene style is my favourite as it accommodates a larger bust with ease, and I really like the silhouette created by the combination of the wide fitted waistband and off the shoulder neckline.
Stockings: Pamela Mann Lace Top Hold Ups (£7.99)
Shoes: Yours Clothing Court Heels (£19)
The shoulder neckline is finished off with a button detail, and the 50s style sleeves make the dress a good work option with or without a cardigan thrown on top. It's also created from a super soft stretch cotton so is really comfortable to wear whether you're using it as a day dress, or something to dance the night away in. If polka dots aren't your thing, it comes in a whole range of colourways so you'll be able to find the perfect one for you.
Until next time,

DeleteI love Dolly and Dotty and this dress is one of my favourites. I was looking at the block colours until I saw this. It is fab and you look amazing in it! Suits your style, colouring and figure. Beautiful xx
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely! I actually reviewed one of the colour block ones last year too if it helped - I felt like a fat Snow White in this dress! ;) xox (http://blog.fashionlovesphotos.com/2016/08/darlene-retro-swing-dress-dolly-and-dotty.html)
