Waiting For The Sun - Outfit Posts Which Never Were

When planning what to write up for my blog next week, I realised that I had a bit of a problem. I have a folder filled with edited outfit photos ready to be written up, but some of them were old. Really old. Like, back from November old. I had shot a whole load of stuff to go up over the Christmas and New Year period, but then ended up scheduling lots of stuff about SS17 show cases so they got pushed further and further back. And then I shot a whole load of new stuff which was more relevant in terms of the seasonal trends / weather conditions, so they have just sat there, getting pushed further to the bottom of my blog post pile.

Daisy Cutter - Berry and Black Jacquard Skater Dress from Simply Be

Way back in the 90s, one of my favourite dresses was a black tea dress covered in a pretty white daisy print. I pretty much wore it until it fell to pieces, with daisies always being my favourite flower, right next to sunflowers. Therefore when I spied this cute Jacquard Skater Dress which was covered in my favourite flowers on the Simply Be website, I knew I had to give it a try.

Kool Thing Photoshoot with Luna De Lovely

It's been a while since I've posted any of my work on here, so here are a few shots from last year with one of my favourite people in the world, Luna De Lovely. This was a session we worked on together last September, with the inspiration being taken from Sonic Youth's Kool Thing video, and the grungy, 90s, MTV gen vibes.

Highfalutin - Simply Be Fluted Sleeve Shirt Dress & Rad Tote Bag

I have been completely besotted with the frills and statement sleeves floating around SS17 style boards, and fell head over heels when I saw this cute version from Simply Be. For me the Fluted Sleeve Shirt Dress is the perfect transitional piece whilst we're still stepping between sunshine filled days and chilly evenings.

Fade To Grey - Knitted Hooded Dress from H&M

I'm pretty disciplined when it comes to working from home, but when there's a chill in the air it's a bit difficult to shake off my duvet. That was why I KNEW I had to get my hands on this Knitted Hooded Dress from H&M the second I saw it, because who doesn't want to spend their day wearing what is essentially a giant, hooded blanket?

Girl Power - SS17 from In the Style Curve

Images (c) In The Style Curve

When In The Style launched their new curve range last December, I totally fell in love. (You can see my original write up here.) From red velvet to pretty florals, so much of it was the exact sort of thing I enjoyed wearing on a daily basis, so I had been waiting for their follow up range with baited breath.

Lady In Red - Claudia Red Crochet Lace Dress from Wolf & Whistle Curve

I've always found myself swooning over the beautiful prints and cuts from Wolf & Whistle, so was over the moon when they announced they would be creating a plus size range which extended up to a UK size 26. Whilst there are only a handful of items in the capsule range, they have managed to create a beautiful series which is diverse and perfect for the upcoming wedding season. Whether you're a fan of block colours, pretty florals or intricate lace, this curve line has something for most tastes.
