Way back in the 90s, one of my favourite dresses was a black tea dress covered in a pretty white daisy print. I pretty much wore it until it fell to pieces, with daisies always being my favourite flower, right next to sunflowers. Therefore when I spied this cute Jacquard Skater Dress which was covered in my favourite flowers on the Simply Be website, I knew I had to give it a try.
In addition to the print, I'm a huge fan of skater dresses and loved the berry shade. It's a colour I wear a lot in autumn and winter, but the pink undertones in this particular hue don't necessarily restrict it to a specific seasonal colour palette. That said, it is a great dress for that tricky period where it's sunny but still cool as we head into spring. The material and sleeves lend itself well to being teamed with a cardigan, and it's the perfect length whether you're wearing tights, leggings or just going bare.

I felt like a sassy grunge queen whilst wearing this dress, especially once I'd paired it with cute boots and a biker jacket. It's so easy to wear, and a dream to wash too - it's one of those rare dresses which doesn't crease and doesn't need to go anywhere near an iron (not that any of my clothes ever do!).
Until next time,
You have such an amazing collection of cute skater dresses - completely enviable!
