Wednesday, Break My Heart - White Collar Dress from New Look Inspire

There's no doubt in my mind that Wednesday Adams is one of my all time style icons. The fact that my wardrobe contains so many black dresses with white collars is a testament to just how much of an influence she had on me from a very young age.
It's a style which is always easy to wear and accessorise with, so when I came across this New Look Inspire version in the ASOS sale, I decided to treat myself. With the Autumn weather hot on Summer's heels, it seemed like a good investment for those cooler days.

I love the waffle knit fabric which the dress is made from, it's weight perfect for bridging that cooler gap as the weather begins to turn. It's one of those items which will get teamed with more and more layers as the temperature drops, especially with long, chunky granddad knits and boots which Daria would swoon over. Now I just need the Autumn to hurry up and get here!
