New Year Same Me - Keeping Cosy with Yours Clothing

Hi everyone, I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! I don't know about you, but I am massively struggling to get back into the normal swing of my weekday routine and am still very much working my way through finishing a Christmas biscuit backlog! With the weather, the haziness and the lack of festive cheer on the horizon, I'm all about the comfort at the moment with my clothing, and am bouncing back and forth between these two cute but cosy outfits from Yours Clothing.

I don't wear jeans too often, but ordered these Black Jenny Jeggings in anticipation of two weeks in the countryside over Christmas and have pretty much ended up living in them. Teamed with a simple checked shirt, it's been an easy outfit to throw on and be comfy in whilst still feeling stylish.

The jeans are true to size with a good amount of stretch, with the waist being not quite high waisted, but high enough to keep your stomach warm. The shirt also has sleeves which can be unbuttoned to become full length, and has a really relaxed fit to ensure comfort is key.

The other item of clothing I seemed to live in over the festive break was this Red Textured Mock Pinafore Dress which also came from Yours Clothing.

For me the dress felt like a real 90s throwback which I absolutely loved, and it was such a comfy dress for travelling in thanks to its oversized nature and functioning pockets. The boots (pictured with both outfits) come up a little small, so if you are in-between sizes it is worth going up one. I did, and they feel perfect on my wide feet with no need to break them in before taking them for long walks outside.

With a long stretch of windy, wet weather to come before we start the slide into spring, I really have been searching for some key items to help get me through. As someone who mostly has a wardrobe of cute dresses and pyjamas, I needed that practical middle ground and feel like this winter, I've finally started to achieve that. It's taken a long time, but I've finally mastered dressing for the weather rather than just chucking on layers and hoping for the best!

Until next time,
