The older I've got, the more I've come to embrace oversized and comfy clothing. There was a time in my life where I would only wear shapes which enabled the "good fatty" silhouette - items which pulled in at the waist, skimmed the hips and played into the narrative of being ultra feminine at all times.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of an hourglass shape, but it's no longer the case that everything in my wardrobe has to adhere to that rule. I love oversized items for shooting in, running errands in and just being cosy with - so when I saw this "wide fit" dress on the H&M website, I knew I wanted to give it a try.

Available up to a UK 22 in three colours, this incredibly oversized smock style dress has cute fluted sleeves and a stand up collar. It's a great everyday dress, and whilst I got mine in my normal size, you could easily size down by two for a less boxy fit. It makes me feel like the comfiest Victorian ghost that ever was, and has become a real favourite to throw on on days where I don't want to have to think about what I'm wearing. I love it because it's smart enough to trick people into thinking I've made an effort, but billowy and soft to boot.
