If you follow me on Instagram, you'll probably know that I'm a total nerd when it comes to make-up. I frequently get excited about new product drops and ideas, and love testing things out. I'm also constantly striving to have a cruelty free collection in my make-up bag, so was absolutely thrilled when asked if I was interested in trying out a few items from the newly revamped and totally vegan B. Makeup range.
First impressions were that I loved the packaging. Everything looked sleek and stylish and I couldn't wait to dive in. I was sent a mixture of lip and brow products, with the full list being
If you want to create a more striking brow, Long Wear Brow Cream in Brown (£5.99) is the product you're looking for. This creamy, smudge resistant formula is great for filling in any sparse areas and creating individual hairs, and won't move until you wipe it off at the end of your day. Pair it with an angled brush to create definition, whether you're doing a brow fade or giving your arch a little lift.
I'm a huge fan of multi use products, so was pretty excited to try out the Lip & Cheek Tint in Say My Name (£6.99) (swatches below). Whilst the Say My Name shade isn't my colour, the gorgeous, creamy formula has convinced me to pick up it's Just A Kiss variant. This is the perfect product for when you're not in the mood to make an effort, as you can apply it by simply dotting with fingers along the lips and cheek bones on the go. It's a buildable product which blends out like a dream, leaving you with a natural flush of colour and a matte finish.
(l-r) Velvet Matte Lipstick in Merlot (£6.99), Lip & Cheek Tint in Say My Name (£6.99), Matte Liquid Lip in Frolicked (£6.99) and Matte Liquid Lip in Doowop (£6.99). |
The star of the set for me though was the beautiful Velvet Matte Lipstick in Merlot (£6.99) - a stunning warm red which would suit pretty much everyone. Unlike other matte lipsticks, this one doesn't leave your lips needing an oasis as it has a shea butter base which glides on and smooths - so no flakiness either! The colour is strong, long lasting and gives you a solid colour in one swipe. And at just £6.99, it laughs in the face of other classic red icons. Needless to say, this lipstick went straight into my handbag!
All in all, I'm so excited for this range - cruelty free, fashion forward and at an affordable price point, it's pretty incredible. It also contains pretty much everything you'd need for your make-up bag, from primers to brushes so make sure you check out the whole range here. And don't forget to let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
Until next time,

DeleteOh, these look great. I've slowly been transitioning my make up bag to cruelty free (trying to use up all my old items and replace them with cruelty free brands) so I may have to try this brand!
