One of the many wonderful things about the world wide web is how it connects you with people outside of your tiny location bubble. Whenever I look at the stats for my blog, it's never ceases to amaze me that people from all over the world stop by to see what I have to say in my tiny corner of the internet. I've noticed that next to the UK, my next biggest audience is the USA so I thought I'd do something a little different and pick out some of my favourite choices from the American version of one of my preferred places to shop - Simply Be.
If you're a regular reader, you'll know that I am a huge fan of dresses - perhaps even more so as the transitional styles to bridge summer and autumn start to hit the shelves. So with lots of soft denim, burgundy and burnt reds ahead, here are a few of my favourites.

I am so in love with this Ruched Ruffle Day Dress ($64.99) - from the colour to the frills to the fluted sleeves, this just ticks so many of my personal style boxes. The ruffle bodice is just so pretty, and once teamed with some tights, ankle boots and a biker jacket, this dress will stay a firm favourite once the temperature dips.

Lyocell Denim Smock Dress With Fluted Sleeves ($57.49)
Smock dresses have been everywhere this summer, and there's a huge reason why - they are as comfortable as they are cute! And this faux denim colour way is an absolute dream. The fluted sleeves are bang on trend, and who can resist something where you can eat ALL the carbs and not feel any waistband pressure!

My last pick is a dress which I currently have winging it's way to me as it's just too cute to resist! The Multi Floral Print Frill Detail Dress ($36.49) is wonderful for those last golden rays of summer, with the burnt red colours stunning against black. With a delicate frill on the shoulders, a high neckline and a pulled in waist, this dress is the perfect runaround number for when you want to feel casual but polished.
