The older I've got, the more my Christmas has been about feeling comfy. When choosing what to wear, the biggest factors have mostly been to do with how stretchy the garment is, so as to ensure maximum comfort whilst diving into that second tin of Quality Street. I still haven't quite decided what I'm going to be wearing on the big day itself, but there are definitely some contenders in the pipe line. Glam, cosy or comfy, or something which encompasses all three?
The first option is this cosy fair-isle jumper dress from ASOS Curve. I got it back in October, and have already worn it a lot as when we had that short cold snap, it was wonderful thrown over a pair of leggings and teamed with slouchy socks.

Tights: Yours Clothing 50 den tights
Brogues: New Look Wide Fit Suedette Brogues
Whilst this particular dress is no longer available, ASOS currently have a few other similar Christmas ready options here.
The next option is probably the most fun, with this Christmas dino tee from Simply Be!
T-shirt: Dino t-shirt from Simply Be. Sadly sold out, but there is a robin, flamingo and deer option still available.
Skirt: Old H&M+ (similar here)
Tights: Yours Clothing 50 den tights
Boots: Old JD Williams (similar here)
Cardigan: H&M Cable Knit
Nothing says Christmas cheer like a Santa hat clad T-Rex, and I couldn't resist buying this in place of a novelty Christmas jumper. If it wasn't for the hat, I'd 100% have this in rotation in my regular wardrobe, because who doesn't like dinosaurs?
The final outfit has already had a bit of a pre-run at a Christmas party, and I have to say, I loved it.
Tights: Yours Clothing 50 den tights
Boots: Old JD Williams (similar here)
Necklace: Primark
Holly Wreath: H&M
The thing I love most about this Voodoo Vixen dress is how it has the power to go from smart and subtle to full on Ghost Of Christmas Present with the addition of a few accessories. Once I'd added the bauble necklace and holly, I felt absolutely ready to show up at midnight and help an old Tory see the error of his ways.
Which one do you think I should wear for Christmas Day, and what are you going to be sporting for the most festive day of the year?
Until next time,
