Let The Sunshine In - SS16 Delights from Studio 8

After finding myself swooning over the début collection from luxury plus size brand Studio 8, I was really excited to see what they had in store for SS16. Visiting their press day last week, they did not disappoint. Vibrant florals, graphic prints and geometric stripes all featured amongst a collection made from truly luxurious materials. If you're a fan of meticulous detailing, chic designs and stunning silhouettes, get ready to have your breath taken away in this image heavy post.

Upon stepping into the showroom, it was the vibrant colour palette which first hit you. A sea of blue and white dominated, with pops of colour by way of neon florals and bold geometric prints. It contained a mixture of dresses, jumpsuits and separates with strong, tailored shapes at it's core. Beautiful tape work, laser cut outs and lace panelling also feature heavily throughout, with a collection containing everything from your capsule work wardrobe to jaw dropping occasion wear.

I felt like my photos didn't do the range justice, so here are a few snippets from the Studio 8 SS16 look book.

It was really hard to pin down my favourite item, but the beautiful neon florals definitely ticked all the boxes for me. The collection doesn't come cheap, with most dresses in excess if £100, but what you do get is something well tailored and made from proper, luxurious materials. This isn't a brand about fast fashion - these are investment pieces which will stand the test of time. Even whilst following seasonal trends, each piece is crafted in a way which will stand the test of time and become classic go to favourites which will hang in your wardrobe for years to come. The hard part is deciding which one you'll want.

Until next time,
