Make Me Up Before You Go Go - Make Up Bag Favourite from Lord & Berry

I've been a huge fan of cosmetics brand Lord & Berry ever since I first discovered their amazing matte lip crayons in a Glossybox delivery. Packed full of pigment, the high colour pay off stayed putt all day and became a firm favourite in my make-up bag.

I almost hugged the postman when he delivered a series of samples for me to test out, and could barely wait to tear into the envelope! Inside was a selection of lipsticks, crayons, a liner and an eyeliner pen and after snapping them in my studio, it was time to attack them with my face, but not before swatching!

Whilst all four lip products were very different, they all had two things in common - a solid delivery of both colour and moisture. The application of all, including the liner, were smooth and creamy with your lips left feeling like they're covered in a high moisture balm - even the matte one.

So firstly, let me talk about the Absolute Intensity Satin Lipstick in Garden Party. If ever there was a lipstick made for spring time, it's this beauty. Deliciously soft, it melts onto the lips like a balm and delivers a glossy flash of bright pink perfection.

Next up is the Ultimate Lipliner in Toasty. This isn't a shade I would use as a lipliner as I tend to apply champaign coloured ones and blend them into my foundation to build a barrier. However I was instantly in love with the terracotta red shade, and as it such a creamy formula, it glided on with ease for a full, matte, red lip. When doing this with other liners I would need to apply a dab of Vaseline or gloss on top, but this liner is so moisture drenched, it honestly doesn't need it at all.

The Vogue range of lipsticks are the magical duo of both matte and moisturising. The Smarten Nude is a pretty dark peach, and great for everyday wear.

My final lipstick was the amazing 20100 Crayon Lipstick in Bouquet, which is a lovely matte pink / purple shade in a chubby pencil. The nib style makes it quick and easy to apply, and is long lasting with a solid colour and moisturising feeling. Out of the four, this is the one which was dropped instantly into my "everyday" make-up bag as it was complete and utter love at first sight. Without a doubt, this is my summer go to shade!

The other item in the bag was the Perfecto Graphic Eyeliner, a chunky felt tip marker which goes from a thin to thick line with ease. Waterproof and with a silky formular, it doesn't flake and will see you through a hot and sunny day with no problems or slippage.
