Black Swan featuring Elvi and New Look
If you've ever rolled out of bed and desired to channel your inner goth ballerina, then boy, do I have the perfect outfit for you! I took these photos just before Christmas with a view to them being a good party look, and whilst I still stand by that, feel that it also adjusts to the edgier side of day wear too.
Earlier this week, my hair and I had a real treat to help (quite literally) blow the January blues away. There isn't anything quite like a blow out to make you feel like the best version of yourself, and Hob Salons have take things to the next level with their Energy Blow Dry.
When I first set eyes on this Sheer Lace Maxi dress from Simply Be, it was a real love at first sight moment. This dress totally embraces all the Craft inspired goth vibes which baby me was too nervous to explore. Grown up me however comes armed with an overdraft, attitude and bright green tips, so whether you call it a mid life crisis or a vintage inspired throwback, this dress was destined to be mine!
I love dinosaurs and I love vintage repro, so when I saw that Lindy Bop had pretty much created my dream dress I was over the moon! Cute print? Check! Adorable collar? Check! Prehistoric pin-ups? Triple check!

These Boots Are Made For Walking - Emilio Luca X Wide Fit Pollen Ankle Boots from Brantano
This time of year, a pair of all outfit, all weather boots are an essential for getting through those soggy winter days. Thankfully with the January sales in full swing, there are all manner of bargains available on the market at a snip of their original price, like these cute ankle boots picked up from Brantano.
Happy new year lovely readers, and I hope that you've had a wonderful start to 2017! ❤ If you follow my Instagram you'll have seen that mine has kick off with a new photography project so please do get in touch if you can get to London and would like to be shot for it.
With the start of the year now behind us, I always find that my colour palette drastically changes. Where as the start of winter is all about the dark reds and blacks for me, the latter half tends to move towards more spring ready hues. Maybe it's wishful thinking? Maybe it's my eagerness to run around London wearing lots of yellow, just like a chubby bumble bee. That's why I'm so excited to start the new year off with one of two fun and bright Lindy Bop dresses which are perfect paired with cardigans as we transition between the seasons.
