Down The Rabbit Hole - Aria Alice In Wonderland from Lindy Bop

Lindy Bop are a brand filled with fun and whimsy, and time and time again I completely fall in love with their beautiful prints. This stunning Aria Alice In Wonderland number was one such occasion, with the original illustrations by John Tenniel brought to life across a pretty swing dress.

Alice in Wonderland was one of my favourite stories growing up. Between chasing rabbits, painting roses or enjoying high tea with door mice, it's a whimsical tale with an undercurrent of magic and terror. It was as exciting as it was magical, and no matter how many times I'd read it, I'd always still find myself galloping towards the next page as quickly as I could.

Dress: Aria Alice In Wonderland from Lindy Bop (£35*)
Shoes: Court Shoes from H&M (£8.99, was £17.99)
Necklace: Vintage Alice In Wonderland Necklace from Les Néréides
Flower Ring: Tatty Devine (no longer available)

Print aside, the dress itself is an absolute dream to wear. It's made from a stretch cotton fabric with a concealed zip, and features a fitted bodice and wide flared 50s style skirt. It also comes with a detachable pink belt, and the dress is just calling out to be teamed with a petticoat for some extra oomph. The sizes are pretty accurate, and I'd say that if you are between sizes, definitely go for the next one up for comfort. The slight stretch does make the dress very comfy though, and will be perfect with a cute, cropped cardigan on top as the weather turns chilly.

Until next time,
