Are you ready for an adventure? Because that's where this Jade Banana Leaf Swing Dress from Collectif is going to take you. Anyone who follows me on Instagram knows that I already have a not so mild obsession going on with house plants, and the beautiful print of this dress does nothing to dispel this notion!
I recently posted about the ice-cream version of this Jade Swing dress from Collectif, but this Banana Leaf print is definitely the more grown up style of the two. This is a dress which I wouldn't hesitate to wear to a more formal event where the ice-cream version might not be appropriate, such as a wedding party or family celebration.
The dress itself is a dream. It's made from a textured cotton which is comfy, cool and filled with stretch. It swings beautifully making it the best dress for spinning around in, and has a fluffy shape to the skirt even without a petticoat underneath. It comes with a removable belt (although be warned, I found the belt on the UK size 22 to be a bit of a squeeze), adjustable spaghetti straps and most importantly, actual real life POCKETS!
I can barely put into words how much I love the colour palette of this dress, and I teamed it with the adorable Jessie Tropical Parrot Cardigan which is a slim fit style made from a soft stretch knit. It was also a great excuse to throw on my Monstera Leaf necklace from Sugar & Vice, and get silly in front of a faux woodland backdrop!
Tortoise Ring: Tortoise Ring from Tatty Devine (£40 - this is the original version from a few years ago, but they have remade a newer version)
I cannot wait for the warm weather to come back so that I can pretty much live in this dress. It's easily jumped to being the favourite thing hanging in my wardrobe, and now I just need someone to invite me somewhere fancy so that I have an excuse to wear it!
Until next time,

I adore anything with banana leaf. I pretty much need everything you’re wearing. You look gorgeous in these green tones.
