Summer Sippin' - Iced Tea and Tea Travel Solutions from Adagio Tea

If you've ever met me in real life, you'll know that I am a real tea fiend. I'm not fussy about many things in life, but a good cup of tea is probably my one real indulgence. Whilst my go to everyday is an Earl Grey teabag, I love loose leaf and all of the preparation which goes with it. That's why when  Adagio Tea got in touch and asked if I'd live to sample some of their blends and products, I genuinely felt like all of my Christmases had come at once!

Tea and gin are two of my favourite things, so when I saw that the clever people at Red Candy had managed to combine them both in the most adorable G&Tea Cocktail Set, I was super excited to put it to the test.

Over the last month, a combination of hot weather and severe iron and vitamin d deficiencies have led to a dramatic decline in the amount I've been exercising. My running has come to a quite literal standstill, and I've been finding it difficult to even push myself to go on long walks over the hilly heath. It's been frustrating as I tend to do my best thinking whilst in the middle of a run, and have found myself taking lots of over the counter vitamin supplements, but without seeing any real difference.

I love tea. Good, strong black tea, tea which comes served with milk, served with lemon or even served with a huge slice of cake. If I was relocated to a desert island, my suitcase would be filled with nothing but English Breakfast and Earl Grey, so when my doctor told me that I had to cut out caffeine from my diet, I was distraught. And since my usual thing to fix a problem with is to stick the kettle on, it was a double slap in the face!

My darling friend Miranda sent me a link to this on Pinterest, and I was instantly besotted. I'm a sucker for both kitsch and perspex, and Miss Holly's Boutique was filled with both!

With a whole category dedicated to "Plastic Fantastic", it was the adorable, hand-cut Dinosaur Necklace which convinced me to ignore my bank balance and make a purchase. When it arrived in the post, it was love at first sight and I was excited to find that several other items had been keeping the dinosaurs company in their envelope.

I don't quite know what it is, but I've always had a lot of love for dinosaurs. Even as child, I wanted to hug the T-Rex from Jurassic Park as much as I did the herbivores from Land Before Time. The jaunty dinosaurs in the necklace are silly and fun, but their solid, dark colour block makes them very easy to wear. They'd look great teamed with any low neckline, but would also be right at home snuggled underneath collars everywhere. I can't wait to wear them!

Because she's so lovely, Miss Holly snuck in one of her signature Scrabble Tile Necklaces in with my order too. Having caught on to my slight tea addiction, I was all smiles when I unwrapped this as I know it's something I'll get a lot of wear out of. I'm hoping it might also serve as subliminal message to my wonderful boyfriend when I'm sat in the studio editing.

The final package contained these two super cute rings - a D for Diana made with an original Scrabble tile and a dice which resonated with my recently found love of boardgames. Again both rings were solid statement pieces, but ones which I can't wait to style in with outfits. I'm sure you can expect to see all these items in an outfit post very soon!

In addition to the Scrabble pieces and  handmade plastic items, Miss Holly's Boutique also contains everything from knitted ties to dog collar tags so is definitely worth a look. Despite being made to order, my dinosaur necklace was made and shipped really quickly and I couldn't have been more thrilled with it!
