It was the stunning, wavy lace panels along the neckline and hemline which made me fall in love with it, and the cute sleeves and nipped in waist which make it so easy to wear.
I teamed it with bold berry lips from Barry M, a Tatty Devine ring and some patterned tights from Marks and Spencer, leaving the dress to mostly speak for itself. The black lace added a slight gothic touch which seemed to please Lord Dicely, but overall I felt the dress was floaty and feminine and perfect for fun in the sunshine. However I think it's also one of those dresses which will layer well when we swing back round to Autumn, with woolly knits and thick tights changing the dress dynamic to a less polished finish.
Dress: ASOS Curve Skater Dress with Lace Neck (£10.50, was £35).
Ring: Mission Contol Ring from Tatty Devine (£35).
Tights: Small Diamond Patterned Tights from Marks and Spencer (£9.50).
Shoes: Yours Clothing.
I hadn't quite realised just how much of my bra could be seen underneath the lace, so I know next time to ensure I'm wearing something black rather than white! However I still adore this dress, and can't wait to wear to step out in it again soon.
Until next time,
Diana xx
