Penny Lane - The Penny Pencil Dress from Collectif Clothing

Now that we're finally in December (Christmas, wooh!), I've suddenly realised I don't have a single free weekend left. Between DJing, Christmas markets and seeing friends to eat all the vegetarian Christmas food I can get my hands on, I need to stack up the festive fun time frocks because this is going to be a month of good times!

So, on to dress one! I fell in love with the Penny Pencil Dress from Collectif the moment I set eyes on it. I didn't dare think I'd squeeze my boobs into it, but to my surprise the stretchy material was incredibly forgiving! I invested in some multi-way bra-scaffolding so that I could run the straps under the dress, and kept the accessories simple as the dress speaks volumes, VBL and all!

It's hard to not feel like a siren whilst wearing a dress like this, and it's a shape which works whether you're curvy or straight-up, plus sized or slender. It's such a classic bombshell style, and if you're going to have just one LBD, it needs to be a knock-out! I will also never stop being in love with this fascinator. Nothing like some cute ladybirds to cheer up a sea of black!
