I had let the whole bomber jacket trend pass me by, as I was afraid that with my larger chest and wide shoulders, they'd just look a bit too tent like on me. I couldn't have been more wrong though - this smarter take on a casual style is perfect with skinny jeans and skater shapes. It has made me feel like a teenager all over again with the elasticated ribbed cuffs, collar and waistband spot on for recreating those 90s styles.
The jacket is available up to a UK size 30/32, but if you want the traditional oversized feel of the bomber, it's worth sizing up. In these photos I'm wearing a 26/28, even though my dress size is somewhere between a 22/24, but even when zipped up it didn't feel or look overly big. Plus it means there's extra room for sweaters and jumpers, allowing you to wear the jacket for as long as possible once we step into colder temperatures.
Whilst it's a bit of a departure from my usual style, I'm totally in love with it. There's also an amazing sequin version on the Lovedrobe site, for anyone who wants to get their sparkle on as we head into party season!
Until next time,
Oooh, love the luxe floral feel of this. You look great!
