Love Letters - A Valentines, Galentines, I Love Me Times Gift Guide

Whether you're celebrating Valentines, Galentines or just straight up celebrating your fabulous self, February should be the month of treats. After all, you've made it through all 983 days of January, spring is on the horizon and the worst of flu season is hopefully behind us. So whether you're feeling romantic, soppy or like you want to show how much you appreciate your epic self, here's a Valentines gift guide suitable for all. Online retailer Red Candy have become one of my go to places to visit when I'm in need of a fun gift which is also a bit on the quirky side. How cute is this balloon lamp (£24) which cycles through a range of different colours so it the perfect mood lighting. If want something a little different, these Heart Tangram Trivet & Coasters (£19.50) can be pulled apart and shoved back together in whichever order you desire, and are based on a Chinese geometrical puzzle. Made from natural wood, you can use them together to form larger trivets to protect your surfaces, or simply as cute talking points for your coasters. Another talking point are these darling Red Carnival Lights (£34) which you can use as a single entity or to spell out an entire deceleration. They are battery operated so you don't need to worry about any dangling wires, and will be sure to provide a centre piece whether at a wedding or your living room.

Whether you're going for cocktails with pals or a red hot date with your Valentine, you can't beat a cherry coloured dress for impact. This Hell Bunny Red Chiffon Paige Dress With Pleated Skirt from Yours Clothing (£59.99) is a total dream and available up to a UK size 32. Flippy, flirty and fun, it just needs a cute clutch and some razor sharp eyeliner to finish.

If you're looking for something a little racier, how about this stunning Red Plunging Body With Lace Cups & Cut Out Back from Yours Clothing? (£15.20, was £19.) Available up to a UK size 36, this plunging stretch mesh body with lace cups will look be sure to get heartbeats racing.

If you want to go a little more traditional, Jewlr are currently having a huge site wide valentines sale. With a massive selection of stones, settings and finishes, you can even opt to have your final product personalised to make a special gift even more thoughtful.

Whilst it's fun to dress to impress in the bedroom, there's something wonderful about glowing up just for yourself, and this stunning Elomi Anushka Wired Babydoll from Simply Be (£68) is the item to do it in!  If you want to find yourself getting excited over opening a little box this February, forget the jewellery and nab yourself what might be the most perfect eye shadow palette of all time. Everyone was all about the The Golden Goddess when the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette range dropped (£39), but this beauty pictured is The Vintage Vamp and is my favourite eye shadow kit of all time. The colours blend like a dream, and the gold sparkles like magic when dotted over the darker shades.

Speaking of favourite things, Sugar & Vice are an amazing indie brand who specialise in incredible laser cut jewellery. My plant loving heat cannot deal with how brilliant this Monstera Leaf Necklace is (£20), but for something more delicate, or more cute, the Cherry Blossom (£35) and Doughnut Necklace (£17) are both brilliant options. My last Valentines suggestion is mostly due to it's ridiculously adorable heart shaped casing. I mean, just look at it. Too Faced are generally the masters of sweetness, but their Love Light Prismatic Highlighter (£25) is a sight to behold. Plus I love products which give me a sheen seen from space, so there needed to be at least one face product on this list! The buttery powder has a metallic finish which instantly brightens, and if someone's going to give you their heart, it might as well be in compact form, right?
