Dolly Mixture - High Neck Dress from R édition at La Redoute

The second I put on this pretty High Neck Dress from R édition at La Redoute, I felt like a 60s dolly. I love everything about it from the neckline to the fluted sleeves, the length to how cute it makes my VBO look!

It's a simple design which works well from meeting to date, and is one of those rare styles which manages to to be both demure and dammmgirl at the same time.

I threw on some ankle boots and a bright red lip cream as the shape of the dress really speaks for itself. It's meant to be an oversized style, but I sized down by one to get a more a-line shape on the bottom to contrast with the wide shoulders on top and loved the effect. Yes it's a little tight on the stomach, but do you know what? I don't mind it. I feel pretty cute in the dress, and love it's simplicity! It's definitely going to become a go to wardrobe staple!

Until next time,

  2. I really love the simplicity of this dress. Its something that can be pulled out of the wardrobe for so many occasions. What's the sizing like at La Redoute? I've had some issues years ago and avoided because of that but I'm considering giving it a go again as they have a lot of stuff I'd like!

    1. I find their sizing pretty good! I'm between a 22 / 24 at the moment, and this is the 22 as it was an oversized designs and I wanted it a little more fitted. :) They have so many lovely pieces in at the moment too! xx
