With Valentines Day just around the corner, there's nothing wrong with showering yourself with gifts - after all, it was the great RuPaul who said "If you don't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?" 

Whether you're loved up or fed up with Valentines Day, it's difficult to resist the charms of Tatty Devine. I've had something of a school girl crush on their designs ever since I was, well... a schoolgirl! And now in my 30s, I still adore their cute, colourful perspex kitsch just as much as I did when I brought my first guitar pick necklace from their old Soho shop.

They have released a collection of Valentines inspired treats, but it was the Valentines Bunting Necklace which stole my heart. I'm lucky enough to own one of their three-tiered bunting necklaces from way back when, and couldn't resist the adorable heart shaped take on a classic design to add to the collection.

As for Valentines Day itself, Howard and I tend to not celebrate on the day, but do something special a few days later. We've decided to make Valentines about friends, and are going dancing with some of our favourite faces to bop along to Northern Soul and rock and roll at Great Big Kiss.

Do you have any plans? I think my alternative perfect Valentines would almost certainly involve my handsome chap, pizza and my other lover, Netflix! But I'm excited to get my dancing shoes on, and am really hoping they play this! ❤
