Splish Splash - Beach Time Fun with Jileon Wellies.

When I stumbled across the Jileon Wellies website, it was love at first sight! Even as a child I had fairly muscular calves thanks to years of dance classes, so really struggled to wriggle my legs into cute boots without cutting off the circulation!

I choose the Two Tone Floral Blue Wellies as I absolutely loved the print. This design is available up to a 53cm calf (the biggest currently available on the market), and can be adjusted by way of two clever straps on either side to ensure the perfect fit. The design also has a concertina like gusset fold so if you want to wear thicker items underneath the boots, there's always room to expand.

I found that the floral print was the perfect balance of kitsch and cute, and I'd have no problem wearing them on a shoot in front of clients. Whether I was standing in sand, mud or just dealing with London's rainy weather, they offer grip and comfort with a stylish flair. There are also a great range of plain boots in solid colours for those who want more subtlety, plus a whole host of other prints and polka dots to splash around puddles with.

I teamed the Two Tone Floral wellies with a floral dress for a day of seaside photoshoots, and found them to be an absolute joy to work in. They're also guaranteed for a year which is great if like me, you'll be putting them to the test on a regular basis!
