Lilac Wine - Floral Print Tea Dress from Simply Be

If you're looking for a selection of the most perfect party dresses, Simply Be have recently been knocking it out of the park. It was love at first sight when I first spotted this floral print tea dress on the site, and I could see myself wearing it for a variety of both smart and casual occasions. That's the great thing about the classic tea dress - they completely transform depending on whether you're pairing them with pumps or heels!

I am such a huge sucker for floral prints, and have recently attempted to break away from my summer goth tendencies in favour of bright and light fabrics. Available up to a UK 32, the fabric feels summery and floaty, featuring a button-up front, cute collar and cap sleeves.

Large Teardrop Ring: H&M (No longer available)
Small Teardrop Ring: Vintage

I am so completely and utterly in love with this print, and felt like a dolly in it. Whilst I would happily wear this to a wedding reception or similar, I've also found myself switching shoes for pumps, undoing a few of the buttons and pulling off a slightly undone grungy look. Red lips and smudged eyeliner give it a whole new feel, and I love those sort of items which have those easily transformable skills.

Until next time,

  2. That's a super cute print, and not your usual fare at all. I have to say my fave thing though is the cat necklace. Adorable!

  3. Love the print! Slightly off-topic, but I also love your giant hair flower - is it real?

    1. Hello there, it's not! It's by the lovely lady behind Pearls & Swine, and is part of one of her other brands Temptress of Waikiki. :) She has lots of them and they are all amazing. :) There's a link above, and if you drop her messgae she is always happy to make things to your specification. x
