At the moment I am waiting for several late paying clients to throw some money my way, so whilst I'm living that "freelance dream", I keep finding myself window shopping to pass the time. One of my favourite sites to peruse at the moment is the House of Fraser website, particularity their
dress section. They are a fantastic department store for stunning plus size finds, as their frequent sales mixed with high end brands suddenly make the more luxurious end of the plus size market that much more obtainable - even on a freelancer's wage!
Right now I'm falling in love with this dream LDB from Evans. It's one of those staple items which can be dressed up or down with ease, and will layer well as we move into Autumn. Some tights, ankle boots, a cute knit, and you're good to go! This pretty painted floral number from Studio 8 is the perfect dress for any wedding, whilst the silver sale number from Elvi might be a great one to nab and put away for Christmas party season. Metallics are going to be such a key trend for AW, and this one is so pretty.
Another recently discovery was the London based store,
Trilogy. Having recently got suckered in by the window display by my local Hampstead branch, the store is branded as London's premium denim specialist with an extensive list of premium brands being sold. But with most of their clothing only going to up to a UK size 14 / 16, it was actually their accessories which caught my attention. Beautiful scarves, cute sandals and a huge range of sunglasses to swoon over were there in abundance!
One of the things which struck me about their display was how easy to wear everything was. The colour palettes appear to have been designed to compliment most core wardrobe staples, and who doesn't love just being able to to throw things together!
Until next time,
